PRAX
Playing as PRAX (Project Restoration Android X), a scrap collecting robot, players are tasked with cleaning up polluted areas. Using PRAX’s movement, players will need to collect scrap, turn off polluting machines and avoid enemies. To help with these challenges, PRAX has the ability to dash and throw a seedball which will distract the enemies. This game combines stealth-, puzzle- and action-game elements, to create a challenging experience for players. A goal was to subtly give players a feeling of achievement from cleaning up the polluted levels. Target audience is very broad, as the goal was to create a condensed non-violent game that can be enjoyed by many.
This was the first project I was a part of at ITU, and I'm very proud of the project as it was the selected for the first student showcase at CPH Gaming Week. I was part of a six person team for the course "Making Games". I was the producer of the game, as well as level designer.
